25th Anniversary Prayer Team
Thank you for walking alongside of Casas por Cristo this year. We appreciate and covet your prayers for our ministry. Here are some of our current prayer requests.

May Prayer Requests

  • Continued funding and wisdom for our A Time to Build campaign. We’re building two new buildings at our headquarters in El Paso, TX (an International Operations Building and an Administrative Building). These buildings will be the foundation for launching operations in 12 more Latin American countries in the future. We have built the foundations, stood the red iron frames, and construction has started back up on these buildings.
  • The launch of our next location: Nicaragua. Please pray for wisdom as we figure out logistics, timeline, staffing, and other details.
  • We recently reorganized our pastor’s committee in Juárez in hopes that this new group would understand and carry out the mission of Casas por Cristo by using our ministry as a tool to share the love of Jesus Christ with those in need in their communities. We have already seen a few of our Juárez pastors use Casas as an effective tool for ministry. Please pray that this will continue.
  • Pray for our staff as they make transitions. Kyle St. Amand moved from El Paso, TX to Guatemala. Weston Lott moved from El Paso, TX to the Dominican Republic.
  • Our Assistant to the Executive Director (Kiersten DeLong) and Book Keeper (Spencer DeLong) will arrive in August, shortly after having their first child. Please pray for Spencer and Kiersten as they transition to being missionaries, learn to raise support, and move to El Paso, Texas.
  • Praise God for the 13 interns he sent us to help build and serve during our peak summer season. They have arrived and are currently undergoing training. Pray that God would provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to lead teams well, in addition to providing them with opportunities for spiritual growth.
