Hello. My name is Eugenio Nij, and I am the pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Jehova Es Torre Fuerte. I have been serving in ministry for 33 years. We are in the process of building a new church building but do not currently have access to water. I would like to develop leaders in our community with the capacity to reach spiritual and numerical growth that can plant new congregations. I want my community to improve through the added resources of a daycare center and community health jobs. I would also like to see the music academy that was started three months ago to expand and improve.

Hi, I am Pete. I have been on staff at Casas por Cristo since September of 2001, with my wife Abby joining in the summer of 2005. I also served as a summer intern for three summers prior to coming on staff. After serving several years as the Juárez Field Director, I moved to Guatemala to serve as the Field Director there. I am now the Director of Central America, overseeing our Guatemala and Nicaragua locations. I am privileged to be a part of leading and helping set the vision and direction of the ministry. Abby and I have five children: Eden, Charlotte, Ezra, Samuel, and Solomon.

My name is Wyatt Spencer. I am a student at the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis and a member of Fall Creek Church. I love spending time with my family and my girlfriend, and I enjoy going on long runs. I was born and raised in a Christian home, but unfortunately I seldom lived like it, especially in high school. It was not until just before college when I had a crisis of faith and realized that I had been living for myself. I needed a savior to deliver me from my sin and I had the head knowledge to know that Jesus was and is that Savior. I accepted Christ and made that head knowledge into heart knowledge. I now seek to live out my salvation and be a witness to those around me. I have been on two very impactful trips with Casas. The second of these trips was life-changing in that I really learned what it meant to love and serve the way Christ did. As I grow in my faith I want to share my passion for serving with the teams that come to build the houses.

Hello. My name is Rosa Elvira Uyu Chicojay, and I am the pastor of Iglesia Evangelica Ebenezer de Mt. Belen. I have been serving in ministry for 12 years. Our church puts a large focus on teamwork. We have prayer meetings once a week in different places around the community to pray and give thanks to God. Our goals as a church are to build a baptistry as well as to build a park for the children in our community. Hey, I’m Madi! I grew up in Edmond, OK and graduated from Oklahoma State University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and a minor in Spanish. I am currently working on earning my Master's in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. I’ve been on builds since 2011 and have served previously in two internships - one in Guatemala in 2018 and one in Juarez in 2020. Now, I am serving with Casas por Cristo as a Field Coordinator. I am so blessed to be a part of what God is doing in Mexico through the ministry of Casas por Cristo. It is profound to be a part of His missional movement in the world, and to be able to combine my two great passions (Christ and Latin America) is a dream come true.
