Meet the pastor sponsoring this family

Miguel Flores Flores
Pastor of: Juan 14:6

Hello, my name is Miguel Flores Flores. My wife, Veronica, and I have been pastors for eight years at our church Centro Cristiano Juan 14:6 (Christian Center John 14:6). We are a church that seeks to serve God. We are growing every day, both spiritually and in number. Our goal is to start a soup kitchen to help the people in our community that need food. We care for our community and want to continue helping and ministering to them in any way that we can.

Welcome Video

Hi, I’m Dusty Cockerell, and I am from Fairfield, Texas. I am married to my lovely wife, Cristian, and we have three beautiful girls, Kynlee, Kyla, and Ellie Kate. I went on my first Casas build in December of 2016 and immediately became hooked on what God was doing through Casas por Cristo. We moved to El Paso in October 2017 to begin serving with Casas. I love helping people, and what better way than serving with Casas? I am serving as a Juárez Field Coordinator. I am honored to be a part of this team and am grateful to have such great Christian coworkers.

Meet the pastor sponsoring this family

Ezequiel Amezega Duran
Pastor of: Centro Cristiano Elohim

Hello. My name is Ezequiel Amezaga Duran, and I am the pastor at Centro Cristiano Elohim (Christian Center Elohim.) I have been a pastor for 8 years. Our congregation is mostly made up of new believers that have been baptized here at our church! Our goal as a church is to continue to honor and glorify God in all that we do. We also hope to one day be able to host the teams that come to serve with Casas por Cristo. We want to help everyone in our community know Christ and have a relationship with Him.

Welcome Video

Hey. I'm David Griffith, and I joined staff in February of 2018. I’m originally from Monroe, Louisiana, where I also attended college and studied Construction Management. I came on my first trip with Casas my freshman year of college with my campus ministry. After going on a couple of trips, I felt that God was calling me to do an internship. I spent the summer building houses in Juárez, and it changed my life! That is where I met my beautiful wife, Victoria, and first felt that God was calling me into full-time ministry. A year after I graduated from college, I applied to come on staff with Casas. Two months later, my wife and I made the move to El Paso! We are loving it here and are so excited to see the ways that God works through this ministry!
