Jose Luna Sanchez
Pastor of: Ministerios Iglesia Dios Proveera Genesis 22:14
Hello, my name is Jose Luna Sanchez and I am the pastor at Dios Proveera (God Provides). I have been in ministry for 16 years. Both my church and my home have always been places for helping those in need. We love working alongside the groups of Casas por Cristo. Our goal is to continue to grow every day in serving the Lord and we desire our whole community to know the love and mercy of God.

Hi. I’m Katherine Kalmon, and I’m from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I am finishing my sophomore year at the University of Minnesota, Duluth studying Communications. I have always felt called to serve – I have been on three Casas trips and took a gap year to volunteer with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps before starting college. A little more about me is that I love being outdoors, anything from hammocking to hiking! I am excited to be the hands and feet of Christ this summer and seeing where He leads me on this adventure.

Welcome Video
Hi, my name is Michael Vo. I interned with Casas in the summer of 2016. I told myself I was going to come back for a second internship, but I ended up going home and getting involved with my home church's youth group! I served as a small group leader for middle school boys. I felt like I was needed at the church, so I decided to stay home and not return for another internship with Casas. I played college baseball for a year and a half, and while that was going on our youth pastor left, and the youth group fell through. Not knowing which direction to take, I spent a lot of time in prayer and community. At the same time, Casas por Cristo kept appearing in the back of my mind. I realized that from the time of my first internship until now, I was ignoring God's call. I can tell you now with confidence that I am here to serve this organization with all of me!
