Meet the pastor sponsoring this family

Edgardo Jose Sotelo Brenos
Pastor of: Iglesia Misionera La Bocona

Hi, my name is Edgardo. I have served in ministry for over seven years, both as an evangelist and as a pastor. I currently serve as the pastor of Iglesia Misionera La Bocona (Missionary Church of La Bocana). We are a small church, but all of our members actively preach the Word. A few of our goals as a church are to grow spiritually, to reach souls for Christ, to replace the windows of our building, to have good musical instruments for church rallies, and to find more work opportunities to bless our community economically. We desire to demonstrate the love and blessings of God through these homes.

Welcome Video

Hello, my name is Wayland Dietrich. In 2013, I hit a fork in the road of life and realized it was time for a major life change. I randomly came across the Casas por Cristo website and applied for an internship. Three months in México building homes and serving God seems like a big enough life change, right? Little did I know that internship was going to be the first step into a great journey I have been led down. I am currently a Field Manager in our Nicaragua location. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am and how every day I am learning to put my trust in God.
