Our church just celebrated our 30th anniversary serving the people of San Raymundo. Our goal as a church is to evangelize families in our area. I want to grow our churches through ministering to men, women, and children. I wish for our church to model Christ’s love for others.

Hello. My name is Chris Pearson, and I come from South Dakota with my beautiful wife, Michaela, and two precious daughters, Emersyn and Adrienne. I first heard of Casas por Cristo when I was talking to my pastor about my desire to go into ministry, and he encouraged me to go on a Casas trip with our church. While on that trip in 2018, I really felt this was God’s call on my life. After months of prayer and talking to mentors, God confirmed the call for me when my wife told me she wanted to pursue this, too. It has been incredible to see Him orchestrate things in our lives in order to prepare our hearts for missions, open the doors to this incredible opportunity, and build our faith as we take this step. I am honored to serve Him by building His kingdom- one house at a time.

Hi. My name is Shelby Myers, and I am a junior at the University of West Georgia studying Early Childhood and Special Education. I have been on five builds with Casas Por Cristo. After my parents got a divorce, I was searching for something to cope with all of the changes in my life. In the midst of this searching, I was drawn to mission trips through my church, Providence United Methodist. Taking part in any kind of service has brought so much joy into my life, but my trips with Casas have always impacted me in a greater way. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do through Casas por Cristo this summer!

Hi, I'm Fernando. I am a full-time student at Georgia State University and will soon be transferring to Kennesaw State University to finish my engineering degree. I began going on trips with my high school, Greater Atlanta Christian. So far, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of seven builds in Guatemala. I have really grown to love this ministry and what it does for families in need. I thought it was very special to be able to give something tangible to a family that would significantly improve their day to day life. God has really put it in my heart to serve, and I really love serving with this ministry. I can't wait to see what God has got planned for this summer!
