At the school I work, there are a lot of children who have big dreams. Most of them are poor, but they enjoy going to school. I want to help children and their families have a better quality of life and home. I want to give families a better way of life and help them to be close to God to give them hope for a better future. Hello, my name is Wayland Dietrich. In 2013, I hit a fork in the road of life and realized it was time for a major life change. I randomly came across the Casas por Cristo website and applied for an internship. Three months in México building homes and serving God seems like a big enough life change, right? Little did I know that internship was going to be the first step into a great journey I have been led down. I am currently a Field Manager in our Nicaragua location. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am and how every day I am learning to put my trust in God.

Notes
The Brick House is a two story home in the heart of San Raymundo. It can house up to 30 people in its separate rooms on the upper floor. Each room has 3-5 sets of bunkbeds. There are three full bathrooms. There is a dinning/common area for group gatherings. There is also a kitchen for use by the team. There are many stores within walking distance to purchase sodas and snacks. As with all Guatemala accommodations bedding, towels, bunk beds, hot showers and meals are all provided. Capacity: 30
