CASAS BUILDING INTERNSHIP
Are you passionate about missions?! Join us for an internship building homes for families in need. An internship with Casas por Cristo will provide you with a one-of-a-kind cross-cultural and practical, hands-on way to serve God. Work alongside our full-time missionaries while taking a position of leadership yourself among other interns and volunteers. No construction experience is necessary as we will provide all the training you need upon arrival. As a Casas build intern, you will work directly with families in need, other interns, and available teams of volunteers as you work to give families homes and an opportunity to know the love of Jesus in a very real and tangible way. You will also have the opportunity to share your testimony and spiritual journey with the teams you lead and your fellow interns. The experiences you will have will be a tremendous opportunity for physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.
All interns are responsible for fundraising support for their internship. This covers the cost of your travel, building costs, housing, and other expenses. See below for details.
SUMMER 2025
What: In our summer internship, you will spend the first few weeks of your summer doing on-site training. After this, you will be partnered with other interns or staff to build homes and lead teams through the building process. Most weeks, you will be guiding a team through the Casas por Cristo experience – helping them navigate the city they’re in, introducing them to the family they are going to serve, directing them through the building process, and problem-solving on the job site. You will also have the opportunity to share your testimony with your teams and other interns as you facilitate their mission experience. There may be weeks that you will not be leading a team of volunteers. During those weeks, you will be partnering with your fellow interns to build a home for a family or working in the office with our Field Coordinator staff.

Dates: May 10th – August 3rd

Application Due Date: April 1st

This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of our ministry behind the scenes and to gain valuable work experience.
