Pastor Damian chose to build for Alejandra because she has bone and lung problems that were worsened by the condition of her previous living conditions, especially in the below-freezing temperatures that winter brings. She wanted other homes to be built for other families, but Pastor Damian insisted that she also be on the list. After 11 months of waiting, Alejandra received her new home last May that has provided a much more safe place for her to live this year!
