In February, Team Casas, made up of individuals from all over the U.S., came together in Juárez to build a new home for Miguel, Guadalupe, and their son, Oliver. Oliver was such a joy to be around. As you can see from the photo, he is a character! During the build, he talked about how he wanted to learn to ride motorcycles, or how he will one day buy his parents a home in Cancún when he becomes an engineer. This home grants Miguel and Guadalupe better opportunities and resources to provide Oliver with better access to education so he can accomplish this dream!
When we visited this family a couple of weeks later, it was great to see Miguel really taking ownership of the home by painting and adding details around this house for his wife and son. This is a perfect example of what a difference you can make when you come to build a home with us.
